Pakistan Airlines clears ‘fake licensed’ pilots

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has cleared 110 of the 141 pilots accused of having fake licenses.
However, the licenses of 15 people have been canceled.
A lawyer for Pakistan’s state-owned airline said 14 of them were ineligible to fly.

According to Pakistani media Dawn, senior lawyer Salman Akram Raja on Monday briefed a three-judge bench of the country’s Supreme Court on the progress of the process on PIA pilots.

He said several cases of Pakistan International Airlines were still awaiting verdict.
The bench of the Supreme Court was headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed. Meanwhile, he accepted an application by PIA chief executive Air Marshal Arshad Malik against the Sindh High Court.
