Qatari authorities have identified a woman who fled after dropping her newborn daughter at Doha airport in Qatar.

Qatari authorities say the woman is a citizen of an Asian country.
They further said that activities are underway to hand over the woman to the appropriate authorities. The woman’s country or identity was not disclosed.
The parents of the child were identified through a DNA test, they added.
