Sylhet-London direct flight to start from October 4
Direct Bangladesh Biman flight from Sylhet to London will be normal from October 4.
Wednesday (September 16) Civil Aviation Authority Chairman Air Vice Marshal Mofidur Rahman confirmed the matter.
He said the issue was discussed at a virtual meeting between Bebichak and the UK’s Department of Transport (DFT).
The meeting also informed about the decision to operate a direct flight from Sylhet to London from October 4.
The UK DFT said they would take the initiative.
He also said that the DFT team will visit Sylhet Osmani International Airport again.
