US Bangla Airlines launches flights to Kathmandu
Dhaka: US Bangla Airlines on May 15 flew beyond the borders, launching flights to its first international destination Kathmandu.
Rashed Khan Menon, Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism, inaugurated the international flight of the airline at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka.
The inaugural flight was operated from with Bombardier manufactured Dash 8 Q400 series with 78 passengers to Tribhuvan International Airport in the Nepalese capital, Kathmandu. The flight left for Kathmandu from Hazrat Shahjalal international Airport, Dhaka at 3 pm on the day.
The flights will leave from Dhaka on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:00 pm and will arrive in Kathmandu at 4.30 pm (local time). The flights will leave Kathmandu at 5.10 pm and arrive in Dhaka at 7.10 pm. The minimum round trip fare for Dhaka Kathmandu Dhaka route has been fixed at Tk 13,999 and Tk 9,999 for one way, inclusive of all taxes and surcharges.
