Taufiq Rahman becomes PATA Industry Council Member
Aviation News: Taufiq Rahman, Chief Executive of Journey Plus, a leading Inbound Tour Operator working in the field of Tourism since 1994 in Bangladesh has become the Member of PATA Industry Council (IC) for the year 2014-2016 at PATA Head Quarter in Bangkok recently.
He is the first person from Bangladesh to become the member of this prestigious committee. Altogether 52 companies around the world have been selected by PATA as per the nomination.
The PATA Industry Council (IC) member has the responsibility to discuss the key issues and challenges facing the Industry and influence the policy making that PATA would bring to the relevant authorities.
The membership of the Industry Council Committee offers the opportunity to become engaged in discussion and debate with the peers from across the globe as to formulate industry policy for PATA and the Travel and Tourism Industry.
The first meeting of this committee will be held on May 17 at Zhuhai, China from 14.00-16.30 at Chimelong Hengqin Bay Hotel, Room no: 309 in conjunction with the PATA AGM and Board meeting with the same time.
