Security beefed up at Sylhet airport
The authorities have beefed up security at MAG Osmani International Airport in Sylhet to avert any untoward incident following the recent terror attacks in the country.
After an anti-smuggling drive, Dr AKM Nuruzzaman, commissioner of Sylhet Customs, Excise and Vat Commissionerate, told the media about the security yesterday.
In the drive, Khairul Bashar, assistant commissioner of airport and airfreight department of the commissionerate; border guards, police and the airport authorities were present.
