Bikroy.com ranks next to Facebook, Google
DHAKA, 23 March 2015: A recent study shows that Bikroy.com, the Largest Marketplace in Bangladesh, ranks just behind the social networking site Facebook and search engine giant Google in terms of top-of-mind recognition when saying the word “Online”.

In addition, the study also researched the top-of-mind recognition when explaining the term “classified website”. Bikroy.com got 76% of the respondent’s top-of-mind answer, OLX 13% and Ekhanei.com 10%.
The study, “A Study on Online Classifieds” was carried out by non-government organization MRB Bangladesh and polled over 1000 respondents in three districts:– Dhaka, Chittagong and Sylhet.
According to a research report, Bikroy.com has also secured the top position as the most reliable online marketplace amongst internet users.
The study went on to say shoppers in the Mobile phone category make up a large percentage of online shoppers. On Bikroy.com, the number of customers buying and selling mobile phones has increased more than any other category. Sales in electronics, motorbikes, cars, personal items and flats have also seen a significant boost.
