Kuwait Airways has announced it will phase out its older Airbus and Boeing widebodies this summer, reports ch-aviation.
The state-owned carrier said it would retire its last four remaining A340-300s and two B777-200(ER)s from service in August this year.
Kuwait Airways is in the process of renewing its narrow- and wide-body fleets with ten B777-300(ER)s (four of which have been delivered) and ten A350-900s (the first of which is due in 2019).
