Airports is now accepting bags only with flat surfaces, according to new Baggage Rules implemented on March 8.
In a statement, Airports authority said, “The new rule will see bags without flat surfaces rejected at check-ins.”
No round bags, no bags without flat surface, no irregular shaped bags and no oversized bags would be allowed.
Bags that do not meet the criterion will have to be repacked in Boxes for a fee.
Airports have advised all airlines operating into of the imminent change.
