Airlines cancel flights due to extreme cold.

Airport officials with the Dane County Regional Airport say the airport is open and running normal operations Wednesday, despite extreme cold, but some airlines have opted to cancel flights.

United and American Airlines are the two providers with some service affected.

Nine outbound flights have been canceled. Five of those are to Chicago O’Hare via United.

Five inbound flights are canceled. Those are all from Chicago O’Hare via United.
