International flights will be launched in Kuwait from January 2

Kuwait has decided to resume international flights to Kuwait by air, land and sea from January 2.
The decision was taken at a cabinet meeting in Kuwait on Monday.

Local media confirmed the matter in reports published in Al Qabas and Arab Times.
As per the earlier decision, international flights will resume from next Saturday.
However, sea and border routes will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kuwait has announced the cancellation of international flights with the country after a new strain of corona was caught in the UK.

Earlier, citizens of 34 banned countries, including Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, were allowed to enter Kuwait directly, but only Filipinos arrived in the first phase from December 15.
