The United States may announce a mandatory corona test for international passengers.
The British news agency Reuters quoted a source as saying.
The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other U.S. agencies held a lengthy meeting on Wednesday.
The meeting also discussed extending the conditions for the Covid-19 test to passengers from countries other than the United Kingdom.
On Monday, the US government made the corona test mandatory for all passengers arriving from the UK, including US citizens, within 72 hours before boarding the flight.
In a statement, the CDC said the United States was trying to take other necessary preventive measures, including testing, to reduce the risk (corona).
