For the first time, Biman Bangladesh Airlines, on the eve of its 50th anniversary and Golden Jubilee celebrations, has launched a state-of-the-art Dreamliner C-check in the country at its own expense.
In a press release signed by Tahera Khandaker, Deputy General Manager (Public Relations) of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on Tuesday told this.
Biman launched the first C-check of the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner ‘Akashveena’ on Tuesday. Very few airlines in the world have the capability to C-check sophisticated aircraft like Boeing-8.
This is a milestone in the capacity building of the Directorate of Aviation Engineering and Materials Management.
