The changes of the schedule will provide convenient schedule options for Bangladeshi passengers travelling to popular destination New York and Chicago with adequate transit time of two hrs at Abu Dhabi to complete US Immigrations and Customs at Abu Dhabi Airport with enhance overall connectivity for flights to and from the Dhaka.
US Preclearance allows passengers to conveniently pass through all required checks including US customs, immigration and security while in Abu Dhabi before they board their flight, enabling them to avoid queues on arrival in the US and arrive as domestic passengers.
Passengers on all Etihad Airways flights from Abu Dhabi to the United States, which also includes Washington DC, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Dallas-Fort Worth, are processed through US preclearance.
The daily EY253 flight from Dhaka to Abu Dhabi will move from 22.15 to 21.45 hrs with 30 minutes earlier departure for enhance connectivity onwards. Similarly EY258 flight will arrive 30 minutes earlier at Dhaka at 20:15 hrs instead of 20:45 hrs.
With the changes of new schedule Jeddah connectivity has also been restored from Dhaka.
