Commenting on the new board, Etihad Aviation Group chairman Mohamed Mubarak bin Fadhil Al Mazrouei said: “The appointment of the new board is an important milestone in the evolution to an aviation group, which has taken place over the last 18 months.
“This preeminent group of directors brings together in-depth knowledge and experience of both aviation and tourism, which will further strengthen the airline and the business moving forward, and ensure the right focus on the continuing development of the group.”
While no further details have been announced into those who have been appointed, Al Mazrouei said that it was “business as usual”. Adding that the new board would be continuing the work of its predecessors.
