Biman Bangladesh Airlines is going to add a new state-of-the-art aircraft Dash 8-Q400 ‘Dhruvatara’ to its fleet.
The first of three aircraft purchased on a G to G basis between the governments of Bangladesh and Canada will be added to the fleet of Biman Bangladesh Airlines on November 24.
Biman Bangladesh Airlines Deputy General Manager (Public Relations) Tahera Khandaker said in a statement.
The statement said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has named the aircraft ‘Dhrubatara’.
With the addition of 3 Dash-8 aircraft to Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ fleet, Biman will increase its flight frequency on domestic and short-haul international routes.
