In the new year, two new aircrafts are being added to the fleet of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
Two new Dash 8-400 models will be added in January and February 2021.
Aviation sources said this on Thursday.
According to Biman sources, Biman Bangladesh Airlines is buying the 74-seater Dash 8-400 model plane from renowned Canadian manufacturer De Haviland.
The first of three aircraft purchased on a G2G basis between the governments of Bangladesh and Canada was added to the fleet on November 24.
The second and third Dash 8-400 aircraft will be added to the fleet in January and February, respectively.
The weekly frequency of flights to domestic and short-distance regional and international destinations will be increased by adding new aircraft to the fleet.
