Jet Air eyes more flights, destinations to India

download (1)Jet Airways, one of the popular airlines operating in Bangladesh, is mulling to increase the number of flights and destinations to India from Bangladesh.

Owing to the great demand of travelers from Bangladesh, Jet Airways is planning to increase the flights and destinations from the present three destinations.

Colin Neubronner, senior vice-president (Sales & Marketing) of Jet Airways made the disclosure while talking to the media at the office of the airline at Gulshan in the city Thursday.

Anmoy Mitra, General Manager, East India and Bangladesh of the Airways and its Country Manager, Bangladesh Rajkumar Bhattacharya were also present.

Mentioning their plan of extension, Colin said that the Airways now has three flights in India from Bangladesh – in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata and looking for more flights in the coming months and years.

“We are very optimistic over the Airways market in Bangladesh as its economy is growing faster”, he said.

Bangladesh’s GDP as well as overall economy is getting stronger and it can become a fantastic destination of attraction of foreign direct investment.
