Emirates now offers triple daily service to Dhaka

Photo_EmiratesDhaka : Emirates has stepped up services from Dhaka with two additional flights, increasing the service to 21 weekly flights effective March 29.
The new service will complement Emirates’ existing operation and further boost inbound and outbound passenger traffic and cargo flows between Bangladesh and Dubai and Emirates’ worldwide network.
“Dhaka is an important destination in our West Asia and Indian Ocean network and this expansion is a reflection of the growing passenger demand on this route. With 3 daily flights, 7 days a week, our customers in Bangladesh will have greater flexibility in their travel plans allowing them to connect seamlessly to other destinations in Europe, the Middle East and North America,” said Khalid Hassan, Emirates’ Country Manager – Bangladesh.
“Emirates began flights to Dhaka in 1986 and this extra service demonstrates our commitment to this market and the importance of Bangladesh to our global network,” he added.
Passengers on board Emirates can experience a wide range of products and services during their flight with over 2,000 free channels of films including Bangladeshi movies, TV shows, music, games and podcasts through ice, the airline’s multi-award winning in-flight entertainment system.
Emirates’ customers on the route will also have the opportunity to enjoy cuisine prepared by gourmet chefs and world famous service from Emirates’ multi-national cabin crew as well as a generous baggage allowances with 40kg in Business Class and 30kg in Economy Class.
With the new flights, Emirates SkyCargo will offer more than 15 tonnes of belly-hold cargo capacity per flight, providing more space to Bangladeshi exporters.
Emirates flights from Dhaka are conveniently timed and offers good connections via Dubai to over 145 destinations in their global network spanned across 6 continents. Emirates passengers from Chittagong and Sylhet enjoy a complimentary air conditioned bus service to and from Dhaka.
Emirates flight EK 587 will depart Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka at 19:10hrs and reach Dubai at 22:10hrs, while EK 586 will depart Dubai at 10:30 hrs and arrive in Dhaka at 17:20hrs (all times local).
