Dhaka : A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between US-Bangla Airlines and Avian Aviation Academy at the office of the latter at Uttara in the city on May 30.
Both the parties agree to share training facilities from each others in the fields of Cabin Crew training, Instruc-tional Techniques training and some other related areas.
The MoU was signed by Air Cdr (Retd) M. Golam Tawhid, Executive Director, US-Bangla Airlines and Wg. Cdr. (Retd) ATM Nazrul Islam, Managing Director, Avian Aviation Academy.
Air Cdr Tawhid appreciated the training facilities of Avian Aviation Academy and welcomed the offer forwarded to them. Nazrul congratulated US-Bangla Airlines to take the opportunity for outsourcing training facility from the Academy.
The signing ceremony was witnessed by Air Vice Marshal M Sanaul Haq, GUP, ndc, psc, Chairman, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB), Mashruf Habib, Managing Director and Ashish R Chowdhury, COO, Regent Airways and Atharul Islam Chairman, Avian Aviation Academy.
It may be mentioned that this academy has agreement with Regent Airways for its Cabin Crew training and Galaxy Flying Academy for its Pilot Ground Training.
Avian Aviation Academy is a concern of Avian Bangladesh Private Limited (ABL). The academy was established on December 14, 2013 and was approved by CAAB on September 11, 2014 as a Ground Training Organisation (GTO). Avian Aviation Academy is the only CAAB approved GTO for Cabin Crew Training and Pilot Ground Training.
