The plane will land at Cox’s Bazar near the sea
The aircraft will land just above the salt water of the sea.
It will enter the airport area 3 seconds before touching the runway. Various plans are underway around the airport in the tourist city of Cox’s Bazar.
A project worth Tk 3,709.60 crore has been taken up.
The government is trying to build the country as a regional hub in the aviation sector and a bridge between the East and the West by enrolling Qatar in the list of scenic airports in the world’s coastal cities.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate the runway expansion project of this important airport on August 29.
He will be connected via video conference from Ganobhaban at 10:30 am today.
