Russia’s Aeroflot is launching Moscow-Tehran flight again

Russia’s main airline, Aeroflot, is considering launching a direct Moscow-Tehran flight.
However, some restrictions will be imposed on passenger transport to prevent the spread of corona.
Iran’s state news agency IRNA reported yesterday (Thursday) that Araflot will operate flights between Tehran’s Imam Khomeini International Airport and Moscow’s Sheremetiovo Airport on Sunday and Wednesday of the week.

The flight will start operating from November 18.

Passengers must submit a written permit from the Russian embassy in Tehran before boarding the plane, IRNA reported.
However, the law will not apply to Iranian diplomats or service passport holders.
In addition, the law will not apply to people with Russian passports or Iranian citizens holding residency permits in Russia.
