Dhaka Customs House has recovered about 7 kg of gold from a passenger of Emirates Airlines from Dubai at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
The gold was recovered from the passengers of EK582 flight at 8.20 am on Wednesday.
According to the Dhaka Customs House, on the basis of secret information, the officers on duty in the preventive team of the Customs House Dhaka started monitoring at different points of Shahjalal International Airport on Wednesday morning.
According to the information received, at around 8.20 am, 60 gold bars were found hidden from the passengers of flight number EK582 from Dubai.
Its total weight is 6 kg 900 g. Its estimated market value is about 5 crore 17 lakh 50 thousand Taka.
