Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport has received 4,056 passengers on 23 flights in the last 24 hours (from 8 am on December 14 to 8 am on December 15).
Out of the total passengers arriving on these flights, another 265 people from six flights have been sent to the two government institutional quarantine centers at Diabari and Ashkona Hajj camps in Uttara. Of the six flights, 259 passengers on a single flight (SB 3584 from Riyadh) arrived at 3:30 pm on Monday without a Corona Negative Certificate. They are all expatriate workers.
This information has been given by the officials of Shahjalal International Airport, Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) and the Department of Health working at the airport.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh(CAAB) recently made the Corona Negative Certificate mandatory for visitors to Bangladesh.
