Flights to all countries with Bangladesh may be closed

State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Mahbub Ali said international flights would be suspended if necessary, noting that the situation in Corona was being closely monitored.

He said this while addressing a security exercise at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Thursday morning.

The state minister said the ministries of civil aviation, health, home and foreign affairs were jointly monitoring the situation in Corona. The flight will continue until further notice.

The state minister said passengers coming from the United Kingdom were being kept under special surveillance due to the recent outbreak of a new type of coronavirus.
If anyone is in doubt, his PCR lab will be tested.
There are adequate arrangements for institutional quarantine for corona sufferers.
Further arrangements will be made if required.
The local administration will be informed about the returnees who will be in the home quarantine.
