Domestic and foreign airlines will be fined if they bring passengers from abroad without a negative certificate of coronavirus test.
If the same mistake is made for the second time, the flight of that airline will be canceled.
There are allegations that some airlines are still carrying passengers without a certificate, despite recent strict instructions from the Civil Aviation Authority.
Authorities have been fined Tk 5 lakh by a mobile court at Dhaka’s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Friday for finding a Corona-positive passenger on a Qatar Airways flight.
At the same time, the executive magistrate of the airport mobile court also fined one of the passengers of the flight Tk 10,000 for being positive.
