The two sisters named the plane ‘Dhruvatara’
“Palki, Arun Alo, Akashpradwip, Ranga Prabhat, Meghdoot, Mayurapankhi, Akashbeena, Hansabalaka, Gangchil, Rajhans, Achin Pakhi, Sonar Tari and Dhruvatara.”
All are state-owned airlines.
Combined with these names is the intense touch of nature and environment of the golden Bengal of the dream of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the daughter of the Father of the Nation, has named all the aircraft. His younger sister Sheikh Rehana helped him in naming.
The Prime Minister said this while inaugurating the commercial launch of the aircraft via video conference from Ganobhaban at 11:47 am on Sunday.
