Passengers returning from London will be in quarantine at their own expense
Passengers returning from London must stay in quarantine for 14 days at their own expense.
Eight hotels are being rented in Sylhet for the institutional quarantine of passengers.
Two of these hotels have already been finalized.
After the directive came into effect on Friday, the UK flight with Londoners will arrive in Sylhet next Monday, said Deputy Commissioner M. Kazi Emdadul Islam.
He said that Hotel Star Specific and Hotel Holy Gate have been rented for the institutional quarantine of expatriates coming to Sylhet from the United Kingdom.
In addition, 6 more hotels will be finalized.
Arrangements are being made in Sylhet to keep 600 people in quarantine at once.
