Two hotels are finalized in the UK return quarantine in Sylhet
Two hotels have been finalized in Sylhet for the institutional quarantine of passengers returning to Sylhet from the UK.
Passengers returning to the UK will have to stay in the formal institutional quarantine for 14 days at their own expense at the two designated hotels.
The two hotels are Hotel Star Pacific and Hotel Holy Gate.
The information was given in a press release signed by Assistant Commissioner of Sylhet District Administration Shamma Labiba Arnab around 2pm on Saturday.
According to district administration sources, all passengers returning to the UK from January 1 have been instructed to stay in the mandatory 14-day quarantine.
Compulsory quarantine costs are also borne by returning passengers at their own risk.
As part of this, the Sylhet district administration initially identified the two hotels after talking to the hotel owners.
