Parliamentary committee urges to reduce Biman air fares
The parliamentary committee has urged to reduce the fare of Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
In particular, the Ministry of Aviation and Tourism is recommended to take special incentives from the government to repatriate workers who have lost their jobs in the Middle East.
The recommendation was made at the 11th meeting of the Standing Committee on the Ministry of Expatriate Welfare and Overseas Employment held at the Parliament House on Monday.
Committee chairperson Anisul Islam Mahmud told reporters after the meeting.
