The Indonesian plane was in motion until it sank at sea
Indonesia’s investigative agency has successfully downloaded data from the flight data recorder of Srivijaya Biman, which crashed at sea last week, the country’s transport safety agency said on Friday.
The Indonesian National Transportation Safety Committee (KNKT) said in a statement that the recorder had 330 parameters and was in good condition, according to Reuters.
The parameters usually contain information recorded from various systems, including aircraft route, speed, engine power, and flaps configuration.
According to parameters recovered from the parameters, the 26-year-old Boeing Co-737-500 model plane with 62 passengers on board crashed just minutes after taking off from Jakarta on January 9.
