A woman fleeing Afghanistan has given birth on a US military rescue plane.
This has raised questions about the citizenship of the Afghan child.
The Afghan midwife was traveling with her family on a special flight from Kabul via Qatar to Ramstein Airport in Germany.
Her labor pains started on the plane.
When her condition worsened, U.S. military paramedics assisted the woman at Rammstein Airport after the plane landed.
