Ukraine changed their statement about the plane hijacking, but why?

Ukraine has denied reports of the hijacking.
Ukraine is now saying that the planes that were sent to Kabul to repatriate Ukrainian citizens from Afghanistan have returned to Kiev.

A Foreign Ministry spokesman added that no Ukrainian aircraft had been hijacked in Kabul or elsewhere.

Earlier, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Yenin claimed that a group of unidentified individuals had hijacked a Ukrainian plane from Afghanistan and taken it to Iran.

Following the news, Iran denied the hijacking, saying a Ukrainian plane had landed in Mashhad from Kabul yesterday.
The plane flew to Kiev with fuel from Mashhad.

Now the question is why Ukraine is now denying the incident after Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Yenin’s remarks about the hijacking.
