Saudi Arabia lifts ban on 20 countries

Saudi Arabia has announced the lifting of travel bans on expatriates from 20 countries.
The ban was imposed in February this year to bring the epidemic under control.

According to the Saudi Foreign Ministry’s Consular Affairs Agency, the relaxation of the ban will only apply to those who took the corona vaccine in Saudi Arabia before returning home.
Saudi nationals, foreign diplomats, health workers and their families have been exempted from the ban, state news agency Arab News reported.

The announcement comes at a time when seven people were killed in a new corona in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday.
The death toll from the epidemic in the Gulf country stands at 8,497.
Expatriates wishing to return to Saudi Arabia will have to go through all kinds of health check-ups to ensure they are not infected, the report said.
The Saudis imposed travel bans on various countries after new cases of corona were reported in England, South Africa and Brazil.
These countries include the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Lebanon, Turkey, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, Portugal, Switzerland, Sweden, Brazil, Argentina, South Africa, India, Indonesia, Pakistan and Japan.
