Under the Air Bubble Agreement with India, flights between the two countries will start from September 4.
The Civil Aviation Authority of bangladesh (CAAB) on Saturday confirmed the resumption of flights with India.
According to a source in CAAB, India had offered Bangladesh an Air Bubble agreement.
Under this CAAB sends them a letter.
In response to that letter, India announced the date of flight operation.
According to CAAB, passengers from the two countries will not be able to go to any third country after landing in Bangladesh or India.
Earlier, Biman Bangladesh Airlines had announced that it would launch flights to India from August 22.
Biman initially planned to operate two flights on the Dhaka-Delhi-Dhaka route every Sunday and Wednesday and two flights on the Dhaka-Kolkata-Dhaka route on Sunday and Tuesday.
But later it was canceled.
