US-Bangla Airlines to operate flights to Kolkata from Dec 1
US-Bangla Airlines, one of the leading airlines of the country, will be operating flights to Kolkata from December 1, 2016.
Flights to Kolkata, the third international destination of the airline, will be operated with Boeing B737-800 aircraft configured with eight seats in Business Class, 150 in Premium Economy Class and Economy Class.
For the convenience of the passengers, the flights will leave Dhaka at 11:40am and reach Kolkata at 12 noon while flights will leave Kolkata at 12:50pm and reach Dhaka at 2pm. All times are local.
The one-way Economy Class Dhaka-Kolkata fare will be Tk 5,999 while the return fare will be Tk 9,999, inclusive of all taxes and surcharges. One-way Business Class Dhaka-Kolkata fare will be Tk 15,535 while the return fare will be Tk 25,534, alsoinclusive of all taxes and surcharges.
The airline has plans to operate Chittagong-Kolkata flights in the future, sources said.
The airline has set an example by delivering baggage at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, Dhaka and Hazrat Shah Amanat International Airport, Chittagong within only 10 minutes.
