US-Bangla Airlines, the newest private sector airlines of the country, has agreed to support the upcoming three-day Chittagong International Tourism Fair – 2016 as the title sponsor.
The fair to be organised by the leading travel and tourism fortnightly The Bangladesh Monitor, will be held at the Peninsula Chittagong hotel from tomorrow (Thursday).
In this context the Airline will also offer a 15 per cent discount on fares during the Event.
Mohammed Abdullah Al Mamun, Managing Director of US-Bangla Airlines and Kazi Wahidul Alam, Editor, The Bangladesh Monitor signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to this effect at the Airline’s Corporate Office in the city Tuesday, said a press release.
“We are proud to be associated with the leading tourism event in the port city. It reiterates our commitment to the development of the tourism sector of Bangladesh,” the press release quoted Abdullah Al Mamun as saying at the MoU signing ceremony.
“From December 1, 2016, we are going to operate thrice a week to Kolkata, our third international destination after Kathmandu and Muscat. During the fair our valued passengers will be offered 15 per cent discount on air ticket to all the destinations within our network,” he informed.
Starting its journey in July 2014, US-Bangla Airlines presently operates to all domestic and two international destinations. The Airline has five aircraft in its fleet including two Boeing 737-800 and three Dash Q8-400.
