Egyptair has sold several of its parked Airbus and Boeing narrow-body jets, ch-aviation reports.
Earlier this year, the state-owned carrier announced it would dispose of unwanted assets deemed surplus to requirement including seven A320-200s and four B737-500s.
The airline will also dispose of four B777-200s and three A340-200s at a later stage.
The move is part of a greater cost-cutting/restructuring plan aimed at reducing the state-owned airline’s expenditure and debt portfolio by 30% this year.
