Istanbul : Turkish Airlines added its second destination in California and 11th in the Americas by inaugurating flights to San Francisco.
With existing services to Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Toronto, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, Washington, Boston and Montreal, Turkish Airlines adds flights to San Francisco as its 11th destination in the Americas.
Beginning on April 13, 2015, San Francisco flights are being operated 5 times per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays in both directions.
Earlier, the airline started new direct flights to Manila, the capital of the Philippines, bringing in its total destinations to 264.
With its unique geographical position astride ancient trade routes that connect Europe, Asia, the Middle East, as well as North and East Africa, Turkish Airlines continues to bridge the globe by again expanding its network.
Manila joins the network as Turkish Airlines’ 109th country, 264th destination, and specifically 32nd point in its Asia and Far East network.
Roundtrip flights between Istanbul and Manila are operated 3 times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays in both directions.
