Authorities have suspended Biman Bangladesh Airlines’ Kolkata flight indefinitely. The decision will take effect from November 12, according to a notice on the notice board of Bangladesh Biman’s website.
The statement said, “Biman’s Kolkata route flights have been suspended from next Thursday (November 12). Details will be announced later.
From October 26, Biman launched flights on three routes in India under the ‘Air Bubble’ package agreement.
The routes are from Dhaka to Kolkata, Delhi and Chennai. These three routes have three flights a week.
Besides, US-Bangla Airlines, a private airline, operates flights from Dhaka to Kolkata and from Dhaka and Chittagong to Chennai.
