Bahrain has signed a memorandum of understanding with Israel to launch air travel. Last Monday, Bahrain’s cabinet approved the agreement.
The Israeli airline Israel has announced that regular flights will be launched from January 2021.
In the beginning there will be two flights a week. Bahrain’s state-run news agency BNA said in a statement that the cabinet had approved a memorandum of understanding between the transport and communications ministries.
The Ministry of Law and Justice is working to finalize a Memorandum of Understanding between the two countries.
On September 15, the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain signed a normal relations agreement with Israel at the White House in Washington under the auspices of the Trump administration. Jordan, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and Sudan have had normal diplomatic relations with Israel since the 1967 occupation of Palestine. Source: Anadolu Agency
