Civil Aviation to receive Tk 3,172 crore from Bangladesh Biman

The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) received 3172.85 crore 19 thousand Taka as aeronautical and non-aeronautical charges from Biman Bangladesh Airlines.
This information has come up in the latest document.
However, it is not clear what steps the Civil Aviation Authority is taking to recover the debt.
However, Bebichak sent a letter to the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism on November 3.

It is learned that there are 8 airports in the country.
Among them Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka, Shah Amanat International Airport in Chittagong, Osmani International Airport in Sylhet are some of them.
Besides, the domestic airports are Cox’s Bazar Airport, Jessore Airport, Shah Makhdum Airport, Syedpur Airport and Barisal Airport.
The aeronautical charges of the aircraft at these airports such as landing, parking, route navigation, security and boarding bridges for the use of the aircraft’s charge is negligible.
In addition, non-aeronautical charges include airline office or land rent, water and electricity, and watch hour extensions.
