Saudi Arabia has allowed Israel to use its airspace.
Israeli commercial flights to the United Arab Emirates have been allowed. Riyadh gave the approval after a meeting of Saudi officials with Jared Kushner, the Jewish son-in-law of US President Trump.
Reuters quoted a source as saying in a report on Monday.
As a result of this permission, Israel will now have the opportunity to use Saudi airspace regularly on the Israel-UAE route.
“We have been able to persuade them on this issue,” a Trump administration official told Reuters on Monday.
Israel’s first commercial flight to the UAE is scheduled to depart on Tuesday morning.
The country was allowed to use Saudi airspace a few hours earlier.
It is learned that an agreement has been signed between the two countries.
