Food prices in and around the airport are skyrocketing.
A bottle of water costs about 40 US dollars.
It is known that a bottle of water costs Tk 3,500 and a plate of rice costs Tk 8,500 in the international airport area of Kabul, the capital of Afghanistan.
Even though the price is skyrocketing, people are forced to buy it to satisfy their hunger.
People’s confidence has also begun to crumble. Many are becoming physically weak.
