Pilot Nowshad in a coma
Captain Nowshad Ataul Qayyum, the pilot of Biman Bangladesh Airlines, who suffered a heart attack during a mid-flight , is now in a coma in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Kingsway Hospital in Nagpur, India.
The hospital’s assistant general manager (AGM) Roshan Fulbandhe confirmed the information to BSS on his mobile phone on Saturday.
He said his (Captain Nowshad) condition is serious.
He survives with the help of ventilation.
There was a lot of bleeding in his brain. He is in a coma.
He is undergoing treatment under the medical services director of the hospital Subharjit Dasgupta, Critical Care Physician Ranjan Barokar, and Dr. Virendra Belekar.
